I’m back home after a wonderful vacation! I’m going to write a full blog post about it soon. Also I’m trying to think of how I want to use Micro.blog. I have Twitter and my regular blog that take up certain thoughts in my head, but I really want to start using Micro.blog more regularly again. I was posting to it every week, but I’ve stopped. I just want to use it more again, and I feel like if I come up with a theme/reason for each post, it’ll drive me to create them.

Sarah and I are about to go on our first vacation since December 2019. We’re going to the Florida Keys with my brother and his fiancée. I’m so excited! We’re basically going to relax and eat, and after this past year I think it’s going to be so nice. It’ll be our first time there, so I’m really excited to explore and enjoy ourselves.

It is NOT good that people think they can storm The Capitol because their candidate didn’t win. That’s not how it should be! Be a person and realize they lost.

My wife and I just hung up our Christmas lights and decorations on our house, and I’m literally so happy about it and extremely thankful! 🎄🎅🤶

I’ve recently started a new freelancing web development project, and I’m really having a lot of fun with it! I like thinking about the flow of the website and what will work best for it and its users.

Life’s been kind of hectic recently. I definitely plan on posting more soon. It’s finally starting to settle down a bit though. I can’t wait to share.

I fixed my first nail in a tire today. That was a serious b-word. I’m also a little proud of myself.

My wife and I are fostering 4 kittens. It’s pretty tough, but it really is worth it.

Working from home has been going fine in week 6. It’s just fine.

I like the cooking we’ve been doing during quarantine.

Not being able to be with family during Lent and Easter has taken away a lot of the usual joy.

Times are crazy. Take care of yourself in anyway you need to.

Week 2 of quarantine went fine.

All in all, working from home has been good.

My wedding ring is starting to leave a dent in my finger. That make me really happy. Whenever I take it off the dent makes me feel like I’m extra married because I wear my ring all the time and reminds me I get to wear it because I’m spending the rest of my life with the person I love.

One of my coworkers is leaving today, and I’m pretty bummed about it.

I’m about to eat a bunch of King Cake, and I couldn’t be more psyched.

My wife and I are staying in and cooking together for Valentine’s Day. It’ll be really nice and cute, and I’m really looking forward to it!
